Senior Medical Product Lead - Alliance Immunology Location: Cambridge, MA; Morristown, NJ Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and oversight of global medical therapeutic areas (TA), coordinating asset medical strategy with overall commercial and lifecycle management objectives. Partner with the Global Medical TA Head and other stakeholders to ensure the alignment of medical and evidence generation plans across the franchise. Identify resource requirements and drive program execution without compromising patient safety or regulatory compliance. Maintain integrated medical and evidence generation plans, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of critical path activities. Provide financial oversight of trial and non‑trial budgets, consolidating and prioritizing medical spending. Implement risk‑management practices, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues and developing mitigation plans. Manage program status reporting, including governance engagement preparation and quarterly/annual portfolio analysis to senior medical management. Facilitate cross‑regional, cross‑functional, and alliance partner communications. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the NextGen Immunology team and the broader Medical Program Management team. Mentor junior colleagues, possibly providing line management for project managers and contractors within the Global PM function. Qualifications Degree in a scientific discipline (BS, MS, PhD) or related field with substantial project management experience. At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a background in medical or related fields and complex project management. Minimum 7 years of multi‑/cross‑functional team experience. Advanced knowledge of drug development processes, regulatory and business requirements. Proven experience managing alliance partnerships and multi‑societal collaborations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of bridging diverse, cross‑functional, multinational teams. Business qualifications such as an MBA or a professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) are desirable. Fluency in English.
