Customer Service Representative

Insight Global is partnering with a growing metals processing organization seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customer accounts and coordinate orders from placement through delivery. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers after the sale, providing updates, managing order details, and collaborating with production and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Preferred Experience: Previous customer service, inside sales, order management, or account coordination experience Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Responsibilities: Serve as the main contact for assigned customer accounts post-sale Maintain regular communication regarding order status, timelines, and specifications Process purchase orders and enter order information accurately into internal systems Coordinate customer requirements with production, planning, and material handling teams Monitor order changes and communicate updates across departments Generate reports and maintain spreadsheets related to orders, inventory, and customer activity Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and communication Nice to Have: Experience in steel, metals processing, manufacturing, industrial distribution, or related industries Experience managing customer orders in an ERP or order management system #J-18808-Ljbffr
