Plumbing Service Technician - Commercial / Industrial / Institutional | $33-$45/hr + OT | SE Michigan

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Commercial/Industrial Plumbing systems and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Read work orders to assess work required and to determine services needed and repair methods to use
• Remove and replace damaged, defective, or obsolete piping and plumbing fixtures
• Knowledge of testing plumbing systems to identifying leaks
• Understand and know how service pipes and pipe fittings by using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to repair and maintain plumbing systems (there will be exposure to hydronic systems, drain systems and sewage systems)
• A valid driver's license & must consent to a motor vehicle check / background check
• Good communication / interpersonal skills / great attitude while providing quality customer service
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within allotted time frame
• Able to work well with others as well as independently, with little or no supervision
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Able to effectively use computers and mobile devices (all work orders will be dispatched via software platform)
