Harrisonburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in  Harrisonburg, Virginia is seeking a high energy Activities Professional who will assist in the coordination and implementation of recreational activities for the patients of our health and rehabilitation facility.

This is 40 hours per week position with (2) weekends 8:00 - 4:30 and (2) evenings 11:30-8:00 a week required. Other days are 9:00 - 5:30.

The Activities Assistant assists in the planning, conducting, and evaluating of scheduled activities within a very successful Activities Department. Additional job duties include leading group activities, maintaining attendance records, collecting oral histories, and completing patient assessments, progress notes, and care plans as directed by the Activities Director.

Minimum Requirement: Healthcare experience preferred, not required.
