We are hiring!
We are seeking a passionate and talented Biology Teacher to join our exceptional Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Head of Science to teach the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Biology programmes , as well as contribute to the teaching of the IB Middle Years Programme Science curriculum. A strong commitment to collaboration and being part of a team is essential for those interested in applying to be part of our school community.

The British International School of New York (BIS-NY) is an international private school, powered by Affinitas Education located in Waterside Plaza, Manhattan, New York. BIS-NY offers The International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP, MYP and Cambridge International IGCSE and A Level courses.

How you will support students at BIS-NY:
The successful candidate will have the qualifications and experience to:
- Plan, teach and assess the Biology curriculum across the Senior School.and general sciences in the MYP
- Ability to monitor student progress and report information in a timely manner
- Commitment to the school’s mission, core values, and inclusion statement

- Highly developed collaborative skills and the ability to work well with others
- Collaborative, flexible and able to use own initiative
- Excellent communication and IT skills and willing to adapt to the demands of the school

Requirements:- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Biology or related field
