As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized behavior.
Monitor access points and observe activity within the retail location, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
