This role involves providing direct patient care within inpatient settings, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery for adult and geriatric populations. Candidates are required to bring their valid license on the first day of employment. Job Details Type: Acute Care Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Location: Lubbock, Texas Schedule: Days shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of experience in acute care settings, documentation experience with Epic charting system, certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), and familiarity with outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with body mechanics, cervicalgia, low back pain, post-operative surgeries (cervical, shoulder, spinal), spinal conditions, orthopedic procedures like total hip and knee replacements, neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinsons disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and familiarity with home exercise programs and patient education. Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Candidates willing to work holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day are preferred. RTO requests and specific scheduling preferences should be included during submission and are subject to approval. Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent relevant experience and a valid compact or state license.
