Proposal Coordinator (Federal)

SEARCH has an opening for a Full-Time Proposal Coordinator (Federal) to join the team. Under general supervision of the Senior Proposal Manager, the Proposal Coordinator is responsible for the administrative aspects of developing, coordinating, and executing the Federal proposal process from concept to delivery. Key Responsibilities Maintain a highest professional image for clients, coworkers, media, and the public Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and similar solicitation documents Develop and maintain proposal timelines and task assignments Assist in developing win strategies and themes with the Senior Proposal Manager and Proposal Lead Review proposal response documents against the RFP and evaluation factors (develop compliance matrices) Coordinate detail-oriented data checks, editorial, and technical reviews Ensure adherence to standards and templates for a consistent appearance and style across all responses Participate in proposal kick‑off meetings and data calls Lead Federal data call responses (e.g., develop tailored resumes and standard qualification statements) Support multiple proposals concurrently (multi‑tasking) Perform self‑check of work products and coordinate independent quality‑control reviews and compliance checks during the proposal lifecycle Work non‑standard hours as needed to meet deadlines Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with SAM.gov and similar federal websites Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or other cloud‑based CRM software preferred Ability to multi‑task on several projects independently and as a team, while remaining flexible and servicing both internal and external clients Attention to meticulous detail for all task assignments Excellent written and verbal communication skills with tact and diplomacy Ability to work independently and stay focused within a remote office environment Application Requirements Cover letter Resume References Benefits Competitive salary Per diem for overnight travel Group health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Short‑term and long‑term disability insurance Group term life insurance Voluntary life insurance Employee Assistance Program Emergency Travel Assistance Generous 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays (11) Paid time off (PTO) Merit‑based raises, bonuses, and promotions About SEARCH SEARCH is a global leader in archaeology, maritime archaeology, and the full spectrum of cultural heritage services.
