Job Description As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Mukilteo, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter incidents and support daily operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.87 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:30 AM - 11:30 AMTue03:30 AM - 11:30 AMWed03:30 AM - 11:30 AMThur03:30 AM - 11:30 AMFri03:30 AM - 11:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue or collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-control records. Screen and direct visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements and restricted-area protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
