PRN Accompaniment Caregivers (Denver Metro)

Caregiver Position

Friends for Life is looking for experienced, quality caregivers who have a passion for serving others, and a desire to improve the quality of life of seniors throughout our community to join our care team!

We are hiring new team members with PRN accompaniment (driving residents to appointments, procedures, shopping, etc.) availability to work with current and future clients or assist with emergent coverage for clients throughout the Denver-metro area.

We also have the option for caregivers wanting more hours to work with other clients. Experience with senior care and dementia/Alzheimer's clients is needed.

Salary:

• $25/hour
• Bi-weekly pay
• On-call bonuses

Client care varies by client, but will include:

• Caregiver will use their personal vehicle, client vehicle, or company vehicle to drive clients to appointments, procedures, shopping, events, etc.
• Caregiver will provide protective oversight for safety, stand-by, or hands-on assistance for ambulation & transfers in and out of client's home or vehicle, as needed
• Caregiver will provide companionship via engaging conversation, etc., with the client during the visit.

Qualifications/experience:

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (non-smoking)
• Current auto insurance (state required coverage)
• Experience with hands-on senior care (i.e., personal care, companion care) preferred
• Dementia & Alzheimer's care preferred
