Business Banking Center Manager I

Job Overview As a Business Banking Center Manager I, you will be responsible for meeting and providing exceptional service to a diverse audience, training and coaching a successful sales team in the pursuit of small business and consumer clients for the bank, and acting as a key point of contact for clients. You will also be expected to achieve specific sales and service goals by providing a full range of business banking services with an emphasis on deposit, treasury management, and loan products. In addition, you will represent the bank in the community, drive the Work Perks Banking initiatives with business clients, and demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options. Connect quickly with a focus on motivating and persuading others to act. Operate at an extremely fast pace, working efficiently while staying within established guidelines. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or equivalent. 2 years of banking experience with external business development. Be registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act, and comply with NBH’s related policies. Valid driver’s license with a driving history that meets the bank’s driver standards; Motor Vehicle Report verification required. Desired Skills Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Treasury Management sales experience. Consumer lending background and business lending experience. Driven and motivated self-starter. Strong financial acumen and understanding of risk management. Passionate about proactive sales and the prospecting of new business. Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to speak effectively to internal and external clients. Strong work ethic with an attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately. Logical thinking to analyze situations and make sound decisions. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages. Benefits This role is eligible to participate in a scorecard-based incentive plan, which can significantly increase overall compensation. Incentives are earned quarterly based on performance against defined metrics as outlined in the scorecard. Work Conditions Ability to push, pull, lift, bend, raise, and hold hands and arms overhead may be required. May be requested to work evenings and weekends for special program events. Travel is primarily local during the business day; some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
