We have launched into a spirited, Southwestern-inspired restaurant and bar that is heavily BBQ-forward, where the vibe is casual and modern. While we're evolving our identity, we're dedicated to keeping the quality- not just in the ingredients, but with our staff as well! The menu contains things like slow-cooked meats, Tex-Mex and Southwestern inspired dishes, and some fan favorites from our other restaurants. This will be a menu that is inclusive of gluten-free and allergen-friendly diets, so we're looking for people who are as committed as we are to providing a safe environment for the guests who have these requests. On the bar side, we will have many kinds of beers, a menu of crafted cocktails, and a heavy focus on fresh margaritas. We need a team that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys the hospitality industry as we aren't looking for corporate robots; we want people with personality- Especially people who can help us establish a new culture from day one, and people who can make the workplace feel like a haven, rather than a chore. Come join our team, and let's get this money together!Responsibilities:Start each shift with opening side-work and necessary stockingPrepare dining area by cleaning and setting up condimentsMaintain a dedicated "section," ensuring tables are greeted, watered, and cleared throughout the mealAssist patrons in selecting food and beverages by suggesting appropriate pairings and answering questions, and serve them in a positive and friendly mannerAct as the primary advocate for guest safety by verifying all allergy and dietary restrictions with the kitchenTake accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system promptlyCollaborate with food runners and bussers to ensure a seamless flow of serviceDeliver orders from the bar and kitchen to patrons, including accompaniments and condimentsMaintain table setting during and after the meals are finishedAdhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure the safety of patrons and the establishmentTake guest paymentsAssist the team with running side work throughout the shift, including filling ice, stocking plates, rolling silverware, filling sauces, putting away glassware, restocking napkins, running food, etc.Complete end-of-night side work assigned by the station/sectionRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, and must be at least 21 years or olderHospitality or restaurant experience with knowledge of food serviceExcellent verbal, customer service, and hospitality skillsAbility to communicate effectively with managers, team members, and guestsStrong conflict resolution and teamwork skillsCicerone Certified Beer Server certification within 90 days of hire dateDeep understanding of food allergies and a commitment to following strict cross-contamination protocolsAbility to multitask and prioritize guest needs while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanorPhysical ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and carry heavy traysAvailability to work nights, weekends, and some holidaysSERVSAFE/TIPS certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 daysWillingness to participate in trainings regarding alcohol, allergens, pairings, menus, etc.Fluency in EnglishDriver's license and reliable transportationDesire and ability to be cross-trained in other areas of the restaurantWhy Join Our Team?Opportunity to work in a Tex-Mex cantina inspired smokehouse with a positive atmosphereFlexible schedule options, including weekend availability and day/night shiftsCompetitive pay ranging from $750-$1250 weekly between hourly ($5.49) + tipsFull-time and part-time positions availableFull time offers benefit package
