ACCA Financial Accountant for International Fintech in Europe About the job This exciting remote opportunity reports into the Group Financial Controller and will suit a qualified accountant in Europe with 7 to 10 years PQE and high technical accounting knowledge in the financial services, fintech or digital banking sectors. Position overview Ideally with an ACCA qualification and preferably qualified with Big 4 Accounting firms, as Senior Financial Accountant you will support the running of accounting and financial activities of the company. In addition, you will be involved in financial reporting for management and regulators, analysing the economic position of the organisation and providing financial information to various other departments. Key responsibilities Applying accounting expertise to performing, planning and overseeing daily and month end accounting and financial control tests to confirm the completeness and accuracy of the financial information Involvement in the financial month end close process and responsible for balance sheet areas such as Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Leases, as well as Crypto Ownership and responsibility over crypto valuation, reconciliation and reporting Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial dataflow from the back-end systems into ERP Tool Netsuite Reviewing and enhancing control tests and improving process flows Liaising with FP&A, Treasury and Data team on month end financials to ensure accuracy while also working to improve efficiency Assistance and involvement in year-end audits, internal audit reviews and compliance assessments Be based in Europe (excluding the UK) A qualified accountant with 5 to 10 years PQE and ACCA qualification Comfortable in working with development teams in defining and assessing financial transactions and mapping them to accounting systems Experience in having developed sub ledgers that feed to a main ERP would be an advantage Keen interest in developing industries such as Blockchain technology or Bitcoin Technically adept with experience in sophisticated accounting systems (Netsuite experience an advantage) Experience in Tableau and Google apps Experience in corporate flotation is preferred Salary and next stage Salary from USD90k to 110k + annual leave and other benefits is offered, and the client is interviewing in the next two weeks for this business critical role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
