_Full Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist _
Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center, LLC is a therapist-owned, pediatric therapy practice that provides physical, occupational, speech therapy, social work services and behavioral therapy services in the clinic setting, through our therapeutic preschool and through the Early Intervention program. Our individual therapy services are supplemented by a variety of therapeutic play groups and support services for children and their families. Our goal is to be the leader in the Chicago land area in both providing therapy services for children as well as educating professionals and families in our specialty fields.

The Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center is currently looking for an experienced, full time pediatric Occupational Therapist, who is interested in working with a diverse pediatric client base, providing therapy services in the clinic setting. The therapist should be a team player, eager to work alongside other disciplines to provide evidenced-based and family-centered care, while performing comprehensive evaluations and establishing treatment programs for a pediatric population. Therapist duties also include providing educational materials and classes for community groups targeted towards typically developing children and their families accessing the Wellness Center.

Additional therapist responsibilities include: Administering comprehensive evaluations, interacting with and educating parents on therapy recommendations, participating in clinics, meetings, in-services, special projects, Wellness Center classes and conferences as needed, establishing age specific plans of care and functional goals based on evaluation findings, continuously striving for knowledge and advancement of pediatric skill base, participating in supervision/instruction of students and therapy aides.

Therapist Requirements:

Current License in the State of Illinois.

EI credentialing or willingness to obtain EI credentials

Successful graduation from an AOTA accredited program.

Experience working in a pediatric setting with a diverse clientele, at least two years
