Nurse Lead Emergency Department

Schedule: Night Shift - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years of technical experience: Preferred
• Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide unit-based leadership in the development and delivery of clinical services.
• Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans for optimal patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance in the delivery of patient care activities to ensure quality outcomes.
• Foster an environment of patient and family-centered care, with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs.
• Engage with patients and families to solicit feedback on nursing services and address any concerns.
