Pharmacist - Day Shift
MLR is partnering with a reputable healthcare system to hire a Pharmacist for a full-time, day shift position. This role is critical to ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care by overseeing medication management and adhering to all regulatory standards. As a leader within the team, you'll also mentor and guide pharmacy technicians and trainees in their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications accurately and safely, based on physician prescriptions.
- Team Leadership: Lead pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Professional Standards: Uphold patient confidentiality and professionalism in all pharmacy-related activities.
Pharmacist - Day Shift Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- 5 years of hospital experience or a residency program is required.
- Licensure: Valid pharmacist license in Texas.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
