Our client is a high-quality, small animal clinic approx 20 miles from Morgantown, West Virginia. The practice takes pride in providing individual and personal attention to every client and their companion pet at each visit. This position is perfect for a veterinarian who wants to work in a friendly, supportive atmosphere with other dedicated professionals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Promoting all hospital services Serving as a mentor and resource to new associate veterinarians as the practice expands Leading the veterinary hospital team through daily patient caseload and directing center team members in a positive and efficient manner Overseeing the care of all pets in the hospital and encouraging collaboration across hospital services Communicating with clients in a positive and efficient manner Maintaining positive, lasting relationships with clients and the Uniontown community Requirements DVM Working knowledge of digital radiography Dedication to long-term employment with clinic Friendly, helpful personality Willingness to participate in continuing education courses every five years The ideal candidate has License in good standing with the West Virginia state veterinary board A collaborative mindset Strong interpersonal skills Business mindset to drive financial results through quality veterinary medicine Enthusiasm about giving back to the local community Client mindset with desire to bring, build, and retain a strong client base A passion for preventative care Compensation/Benefits: Pro-Sal, profit sharing distribution payments, licensing fees, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), membership dues, CE allowance, long and short-term disability coverage, and employee discounts The clinic location is outside the growing city of Morgantown nestled in the Appalachian Mountains.
