RN Position in Med Surg 3N

Contract RN position in Med Surg 3N. Shifts will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position does not require on-call duty. The unit has 32 beds and currently has no staff, creating a new opening. Staffing includes RNs, LVNs, and PCTs. Patient ratios are 5:1 during the day shift and 6:1 during the night shift. The unit is equipped with a bladder scanner, vital sign machine, telemetry, and lifts. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates are preferred who have three years or more nursing experience. The best personality fit for this unit is someone open to feedback and possesses an owner mentality. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs with an associated logo. The unit promotes a welcoming environment and encourages professional growth. This position offers an opportunity to work with new equipment and technology. Schedulers for shifts will consider offering 4 shifts per month on weekends.
