Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient

Pay Range:
$39.60 - $59.40

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. Mary's Hospital - Decatur is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our therapy team.


Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven individuals who are responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services and who serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement. PT will also perform other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.

Position Specifics:
oDepartment: Rehab, Outpatient
o Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep
o Full-time, Day Shift (40 hours/week). Flexible scheduling options include 4 10-hour shifts, 4 9-hour shifts, or 5 8-hour shifts, with hours scheduled between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
o Facility: St. Mary's Hospital
o Clinic Location: Decatur, IL
o Compensation that aligns with your experience

*This position primarily focuses on treating a general orthopedic population. We also welcome physical therapists with an interest in specialty areas.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice (Required).

Experience Qualifications

• Years of Experience (2+)

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• Board Certification (e.g., CHT, OCS, etc.) which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification (Preferred).
