Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include providing chairside assistance, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with dental protocols. This role is vital for delivering high-quality dental services and supporting dentists and other dental providers in providing outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chairside four-handed dentistry and provide supportive dental services.
• Maintain courteous communication and keep dental providers informed of patient status.
• Assist with pre-authorization lab work and manage models/lab products.
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment while complying with OSHA infection control standards.
• Adhere to radiograph techniques and principles when taking radiographs.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Comply with federal/state guidelines and COVID-19 safety protocols.
• Participate in community outreach and mentor dental students.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned during slow hours.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant Registration
• Minimum of 6 months of Dental Assistant experience
• Experience working with American Indian and Alaska Native communities preferred
• Familiarity with the health and social issues facing the American Indian/Alaska Native population preferred

• Proficiency in chairside dentistry and electronic health record documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
