About the Role

Amy Karyn Home is a boutique interior design studio and retail home furnishings showroom in Hopewell, NJ. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Showroom & Operations Manager to support our interior design projects and day-to-day retail operations.

This position works closely with the designer and is responsible for purchasing, order tracking, inventory, vendor coordination, shipping and deliveries, showroom organization, and general studio support.

This is a full-time, in-person position Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday availability is required. Local candidates within a reasonable commute of Hopewell/Princeton area are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and procurement for client projects and showroom merchandise.
• Track orders, lead times, backorders, deliveries, damages, returns, and replacements.
• Maintain accurate inventory, pricing, SKUs, and order records.
• Coordinate vendors, receivers, shipping companies, and client deliveries.
• Maintain an organized and beautifully presented retail showroom.
• Assist showroom customers and provide professional, attentive service.
• Support the designer with sourcing, product research, fabrics, samples, and materials.
• Handle vendor accounts, invoices, purchase orders, and related paperwork.
• Assist with general studio organization and administration.
• Attend trade shows and vendor appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
• Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
• Proficient with email, spreadsheets, calendars, and general office software.
• Interior design experience is a strong plus , especially in residential design, home furnishings, or a design showroom.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, operations, or high-end retail is also valued.
• Genuine interest in interior design.
• Required Experience 2 to 4 years
• Portfolio and Cover Letter A Plus
