Journeyman ElectricianShare Apply Part-time $29.00 - 31.00 per hourTDLR License is REQUIREDJourneyman electricianMostly Residential ProjectsResponsibilities will be:Installing standby generatorsInstalling underground conduitInstalling Automatic Transfer SwitchesLight electrical/generator service callsHeavy Lifting is requiredCompany work truck is provided401K and Insurance available.Working Conditions:Typical hours of operation, Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM.Weekend hours as necessary, some adjustments to starting and quitting time as workload requires.Physical demands include: Walking, standing, sitting at a desk, typing on keyboard, viewing and reading computer monitor, and using telephone. Lift up to 50 lbs. Use hands and arms to reach, touch, handle objects. Frequent talking, hearing, and reading are also required to perform regular job functions.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must have working knowledge of the above titled position and how it related to the overall business and its' objectivesMust promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environmentGood people skills with ability to communicate well with othersHighly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailQualifications:Must have previous electrical experience, some on the job training is availableMust Hold a Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license.High School Diploma or GEDAC and DC electrical experience is a plusDuties and responsibilities:Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devicesTrace wiring and troubleshoot problemsAssist in load testing generator packagesAssist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, civil assembly for setting power generation packagesRead wiring diagramsPerform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels etcBe proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipmentPromote good welfare among the company and its' divisionsPerform other duties as assignedWork scheduleMonday to FridaySupplemental paySigning bonusBenefitsPaid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceDisability insurance401(k)401(k) matchingPaid trainingGenerator Supercenter - Headquarters 23123 TX-249, Tomball, TX 77375, USA Apply
