The ideal candidates will bring deep technical expertise in macOS development, strong systems-level knowledge, and a solid understanding of Apple’s security architecture.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and debug software applications and system-level components for macOSCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality, secure softwareTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to macOS internals and system behaviorFollow best practices for secure coding, performance optimization, and maintainabilityRequired QualificationsCurrent TS/SCI with Poly ClearanceMinimum of three (3) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging software using C, C++, and PythonMinimum of three (3) years of demonstrated, in-depth experience developing, testing, and debugging software specifically for macOSStrong problem-solving skills and experience working with complex codebasesDesired QualificationsTwo (2) years of experience developing, testing, and debugging macOS kernel extensionsDemonstrated in-depth understanding of macOS security features, including System Integrity Protection (SIP), code signing, and entitlementsStrong knowledge of macOS internals, including experience with:Objective-CMachIOKitXcode and/or LLDBPlease Note: This position is contingent upon awardSalary & BenefitsThe salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
