Dental Receptionist Patient Care Coordinator

Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming first impression. Answer incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently while helping maintain a productive schedule. Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, office policies, and general insurance concepts. Assist with treatment scheduling and patient follow-up. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the practice management software. Follow up with unscheduled treatment and overdue recare patients to support patient retention. Coordinate patient communications through phone, text, and email. Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience. Support front office operations through organization, attention to detail, and effective time management. Contribute positively to the office culture and help foster a collaborative team environment. Qualifications Previous dental front office experience 2+ years. Working knowledge of dental insurance and how benefits generally function. Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport with patients and team members. Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player. Moderate initiative with the ability to identify opportunities and take appropriate action. Commitment to patient satisfaction and long-term patient retention. Open to coaching, training, and learning our office systems and processes. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
