Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer – telecommute Flexible hours (typically 9-5, M-F) Work with a team of 7 QA Engineers and QA Analysts Interview process will consist of an initial online interview with the hiring manager followed by online group interviews with peers.

Role will include:

• Helping move, create, and set up QA processes for functional, integration and end to end testing within the AWS environments.
• Working with engineering team on creation of regression and QA automation scripts.
• Functional, integration and end to end testing.
• Writing advanced testing scripts on big data sets to identify issues and/or verify requirements.
• Analyzing and writing test standards and procedures.
• Finding defects and working directly with the teams to resolve and regress.
• Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality.
• Working with development engineers in resolution of problems.
• Providing guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Required Skills : Must have: The ability to go beyond the written requirements and code to question and identify areas the code can break and write the tests to verify.
