Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED - LBS1 Certified)
Location: La Salle, IL 61301
Pay Rate: $85/hour
Contract Length: 42 Weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time (In-Person)
Start Date: Required training from August 11-15 , first day of school is August 18
Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher (LBS1 certified) to join a supportive team at the high school level in La Salle, IL . This is a full-time, in-person opportunity with a 42-week contract , ideal for educators passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs thrive.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to high school students with a range of disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on individual needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Illinois LBS1 certification .
• Must be available for mandatory in-person training (August 11-15) and to begin the school year on August 18 .
• Prior experience with high school students preferred (minimum 1 year recommended).
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday , on-site in La Salle, IL.

Contract Details:

• 42-week contract
• $85/hour , paid weekly
• Full-time, in-person position only (remote not available)
