Responsibilities Provide person-centered support in accordance with Individual Support Plans (ISP) Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence Support activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks Encourage participation in recreational, educational, and community activities Provide transportation to appointments, community outings, and other essential activities Assist individuals in accessing community resources and services Implement behavioral support strategies and residential interventions as directed Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment Complete required documentation accurately and timely Collaborate with supervisors, clinical teams, families, and other service providers Perform additional duties as assigned Who We're Looking For Compassionate and caring Patient and respectful Dependable and responsible Team-oriented Flexible and adaptable Positive and encouraging Dedicated to helping others succeed Qualifications Required No prior DSP experience required. Paid training provided. High School Diploma or GED Ability to provide proof of education Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Basic computer skills, including email and electronic documentation Ability to pass required background screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Experience in behavioral health, social services, residential care, caregiving, or direct support roles Schedule Full-Time Flexible scheduling available Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on program needs Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and assist individuals as needed Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation About Our Organization RHD Delaware is part of the Inperium family of companies.
