Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Cicero, IL is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician for a contract opportunity from May 28 to July 2. This role offers the chance to contribute to patient care by ensuring accurate distribution of medications and educating customers on their proper use, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other licensed health practitioners
Provide clear and knowledgeable information to customers regarding medication usage
Maintain a high standard of customer service focused on patient and client satisfaction

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required
Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings preferred
Ability to work independently and follow strict protocols with attention to detail
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and healthcare providers
