UI Designer / Product Designer

Primary Responsibilities

UI Design & Visual Craft

• Apply strong visual design principles including typography, color theory, spacing, grid systems, composition, and visual hierarchy to create intuitive digital experiences.
• Translate brand guidelines and visual standards into consistent, scalable, and user-focused interface designs.
• Design high-quality user interfaces for web, mobile, and responsive digital platforms.
• Ensure visual consistency, usability, and design excellence across products and digital touchpoints.

Interaction & Experience Design

• Define interaction patterns, interface states, transitions, and feedback mechanisms aligned with user needs and system behavior.
• Create engaging motion design and micro-interactions that enhance usability and overall experience quality.
• Design responsive, adaptive, and fluid experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Develop intuitive user flows and interaction models that improve product usability and engagement.

Design Systems & Scalability

• Contribute to the creation, evolution, and governance of design systems, reusable components, patterns, and UI standards.
• Apply Atomic Design principles to build scalable, maintainable, and consistent user interface systems.
• Create and manage design tokens, style variables, themes, and component specifications in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Support the adoption of structured component libraries to maintain consistency across digital products.

Accessibility & Usability

• Ensure designs align with WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Advocate for accessibility-first design practices throughout the product design lifecycle.
• Incorporate usability best practices to create intuitive and inclusive user experiences.

Design Execution & Delivery

• Create wireframes, user interface concepts, mockups, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design direction.
• Develop prototypes ranging from low-fidelity concepts to interactive, high-fidelity experiences.
• Prepare detailed design specifications, annotations, and assets to support efficient design-to-development handoff.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation and maintain design integrity.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, developers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, feedback sessions, and iterative design improvements.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Continuously improve design processes, workflows, and user experience quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in UI design, product design, interaction design, or digital experience design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI design, interaction design, responsive design, and design systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma; experience with Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Visual design principles and digital interface standards
  • Interaction design and motion principles
  • Responsive and adaptive design approaches
  • Design systems, component libraries, and Atomic Design methodology
  • Accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines and inclusive design practices
• Experience translating brand standards into digital product experiences.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and supporting design implementation and handoff processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
