**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Chemist/Formulator to support our supplements division. This role will be responsible for product formulation, analytical testing, and overseeing key production processes, with a strong emphasis on HPLC operation and tablet coating.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules, and powders in the supplements category.

- Independently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC systems for raw material and finished product testing.

- Perform method development, validation, and routine analysis to ensure identity, purity, and potency.

- Interpret chromatograms and analytical data; prepare clear, accurate test reports and documentation.

- Oversee and operate tablet coating equipment, including solution preparation, coating parameters, and in-process controls.

- Work closely with production to scale formulations from R&D to full manufacturing.

- Ensure all work complies with cGMP, SOPs, and relevant regulatory and quality standards.

- Participate in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to analytical or formulation issues.

- Support stability studies, shelf-life evaluations, and continuous product improvement.

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

- **Minimum 5 years of hands-on HPLC experience** in a GMP, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or related lab environment.

- Demonstrated ability to run, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC systems (e.g., Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu).

- Experience with formulation of solid oral dosage forms (tablets/capsules).

- Direct experience operating and optimizing tablet coating processes.

- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry, method validation, and documentation practices.

- Working knowledge of cGMP and quality systems.

- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or botanical industry.

- Experience with additional analytical techniques (e.g., UV-Vis, dissolution testing).

- Familiarity with regulatory expectations for supplements and botanicals.
