CHIEF Financial Officer

Energy Recruiters has been engaged by a successful, privately held fuel retailer and distributor to assist in their search for a Chief Financial Officer. In this role, you will be a key member of the executive team and responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. Your strategic leadership will drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Compensation: Based on Experience Location: Missouri Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives. Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes to optimize resource allocation and support growth initiatives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and market trends. Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance and drive continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency. Provide mentorship and guidance to finance staff, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to organizational success. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of current CFO experience with a multi-unit retailer. Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence. In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance. Experience with PDI and PDI integration is plus but not required. Experience with acquisitions. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
