Barista

Location: Indianapolis International Airport, Indianapolis, IN, 46241 Job Description We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team at Indianapolis International Airport. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for travelers and airport staff. Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards. Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous service. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas. Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Restock supplies and inventory as needed to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Assist with opening and closing duties as required. Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred. Passion for coffee and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to pass a background check and comply with airport security requirements.
