The ideal candidate should be proficient in baking and pastry techniques, maintain a high standard of quality, and excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves creating pastry dishes based on our chef's specifications, prepping ingredients, and maintaining a clean, efficient baking station. Responsibilities: Prepare pastry dishes in accordance with chef's specifications, ensuring consistent quality. Maintain a clean and organized baking station, adhering to health and safety standards. Prep daily mise en place, setting up your station for success. Follow proper food handling and sanitation standards to guarantee guest safety. Cooperate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in the baking/pastry section. Proficiency in baking techniques and pastry preparation. Understanding of baking methodologies and ability to follow complex recipes. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Food handler's certification, or ability to obtain one. Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation to and from work.
