am- Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Monday-Friday/0700-1530 (7 am-3:30 pm)

Starting Wage: $36.79-$50.59 per hour, depending on experience


Position Summary

The Electrician General Journeyman provides qualified new electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and retrofits on a variety of equipment, machinery, and buildings throughout the Asante Health System. Maintains a variety of equipment from the very basic to the complex. Achieves the highest level of safety and reliability. Ensures optimum performance and efficiency to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Position Qualifications

Experience

• Previous experience as a General Journeyman Electrician (preferably four (4) years as a General Journeyman and five (5) years previous industrial, commercial and/ or hospital experience- required
• Installation experience of 480 volt through 24 volt wiring systems- required

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent- required
• Accredited 'General Journeyman' level program completion- preferred

Certification/Licensure

• Journeyman Electrical Certification- required
• ODL : Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License with proof of safe driving record for the past ten years and proof of insurance- required
