Scholarship: Faculty are expected to remain professionally and academically engaged through research or creative endeavors and on-going professional development. Citizenship: Faculty are expected to contribute actively to the university community and their profession. Qualifications A doctorate in Biology or related field is required. Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted. Specializing in areas such as: Human Anatomy or Physiology, Ecology or Marine Biology, Cell Biology, Environmental Science. ABD near completion will also be considered (must complete degree by start date). As an educational institution affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Church), BYU–Hawaii prefers to hire qualified members of the Church in good standing, as authorized under 41 C.F.R. § 60-1.5 (a)(6). To be eligible for employment, applicants who are members of the Church must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend and receive a clearance from the Church’s Ecclesiastical Clearance Office. Benefits Salary range: 121K to 131K, depending on credentials (highest degree earned), rank and experience. Housing stipend. A
