Facility Maintenance Technician

LOCATION

St. Louis, Missouri (Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician who takes pride in fixing things and keeping a building running the way it should. This is a true "jack-of-all-trades" role - you'll handle everything from electrical and plumbing repairs to carpentry, lighting, HVAC support, and general upkeep across our facility.

No two days are the same. One day you might be troubleshooting a lighting issue, the next you're patching drywall, fixing a door, or helping keep our systems running safely and efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and respond to repair requests across facilities
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, lighting, drywall, doors, locks, furniture, restrooms, roofing elements, and related components
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal building performance
• Support plumbing, HVAC systems, and fire system maintenance activities
• Maintain accurate written and electronic records of maintenance work in compliance with OSHA, ISO, and cGMP standards
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazardous work protocols
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations
• Work independently to manage multiple maintenance projects within schedule and budget

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

4 to 6 years of commercial office building maintenance experience

Knowledge, Skills + Abilities

• Proficiency using hand and power tools
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation
• Experience with commercial office furniture installation and configuration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage work within schedules and budgets
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders
• Strong attention to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
