Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Certified Nurse Assistant performs all duties within scope of practice.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• Current California CNA License
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• Recent acute care experience preferred
• Six (6) months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
