Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician We are seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Walmart's refrigeration HVAC equipment. The role requires hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot warehouse refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools. Use work‑order management system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and store associates. Inspect, operate, and test equipment and fixtures to diagnose issues. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Complete all required training to operate equipment safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and follow the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications 2 years' experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance. Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR pass required). High school diploma or equivalent; 18 years or older. Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience (preferred). Desired Qualifications Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2–4 years of mechanical maintenance experience in commercial HVAC/R. Mechanical license in the city/state of the job location.
