Job DescriptionPrincipal – Medical Devices Commercial Transformation, Life SciencesInfosys Consulting is seeking an entrepreneurial Principal to grow our Medical Devices Commercial practice by helping clients modernize the technology behind their customer-facing functions: sales, launch excellence, pricing, contracting, and market access/reimbursement. This person will typically be staffed on a live client engagement and will use that access and delivery credibility as the platform to identify adjacent, unbudgeted opportunities within the account. We are looking for someone equally comfortable leading a delivery workstream and using it as the hook to surface the client's next problem before a formal RFP exists.RESPONSIBILITIESLead delivery of commercial transformation engagements for medtech clients across CRM/sales enablement (Salesforce, Veeva), CPQ and pricing, contract lifecycle management, and commercial data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry).Bring a point of view on applied AI in commercial functions: GenAI and agentic solutions that lift productivity in sales, launch, pricing, and reimbursement (e.g., deal support, pricing optimization, contract review, rep copilots).Convert delivery into account growth: while staffed on an engagement, identify adjacent white space and build the business case with client stakeholders ahead of a formal RFP.Partner with IC leadership and Infosys client partner teams to shape account growth plans and support pursuits, including proposal development and client presentations.Manage program planning, execution, and reporting; own program governance, deliverables, risks, and budgets.Conduct workshops/interviews with client stakeholders to gather requirements and support solution developmentContribute to thought leadership on AI-enabled commercial transformation and represent Infosys Consulting in medtech industry forums.Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice capability-building, including coaching on proactive client development.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrates proven success in roles and thorough abilities in one or more of the following areas:7–10+ years of experience in Medical Device Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, Pricing, or Commercial Consulting.Working knowledge of commercial tech beyond core CRM — CPQ and pricing platforms, contract lifecycle management, and data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry) used for commercial decisioning.Awareness of how AI is applied to customer-facing functions sales, launch excellence, pricing/reimbursement, contracting and the ability to translate that into a client-relevant point of view.A demonstrated hunter instinct: a track record of pursuing opportunities that weren't formally assigned expanding scope on a live engagement, building a business case that won funding, or convincing a stakeholder to back an unbudgeted idea.Comfort holding both a delivery workstream and an account-growth conversation at the same time, without one crowding out the other.Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication experience.Prior consulting experience preferred, or strong industry commercial leadership with a track record of driving internal, unmandated initiatives.Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
