Registered Nurse (RN)-Emergency Department (ED)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) for a 6-week contract in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The RN will provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment and must be comfortable responding to changing patient acuity and department needs.

The primary schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, with flexibility required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as staffing needs dictate. Travelers may also be required to float to other patient care areas based on operational needs.

• Assess and monitor emergency department patients and provide timely nursing interventions based on clinical condition and acuity.

• Deliver safe and effective emergency nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and protocols.

• Administer medications and treatments and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate emergency patient care.

• Float to other units, departments, or patient care areas as needed based on staffing needs and clinical competency.

• Minimum 1 Year of Emergency Department Registered Nurse Experience Required.

• Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable State Licensure Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.

• Current PALS, NRP, and TNCC Certifications Required.

• Ability to Work Flexible 12-Hour Shifts, Weekends, and Holidays Required; ENPC Certification Preferred.
