PRIMARY TASKS:

• Confers with Supervisors or other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products
• Monitors container inventory to ensure adequate supply to meet customer and production needs
• Communicates potential part shortages to plant operations
• Coordinates all customer shipments in accordance with Customer Specific Requirements – ensuring window time adherence, paperwork accuracy, cubing/weight requirements and ASN accuracy
• Responsible for management and maintenance of customer container portals
• Manages outside storage of customer containers to ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained.

MANAGERIAL:

• Directs training of associates to improve efficiency and performance
• Participates in continuous improvement activities
• Responsible for managing and maintaining associate e-time
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforced safety regulations
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work. Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates and addressing complaints and resolving problems within the department.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001procedures located at K:/winapps/data/TS Team/Quality System Documentation
• Meet company requirements to maintain forklift certification
