Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Onsite | Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10-hour schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Perform cardiac call coverage, with a minimum of approximately 6 call shifts per month (including weekday and 24-hour weekend shifts), averaging 2–3 call days per week
• Float within scope of practice to support facility needs as required
• Complete time-sensitive facility onboarding modules prior to or at the start of the assignment
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Perform other OR cases as assigned when no CVOR cases are scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience required; 2 years of direct CVOR experience strongly required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required within 12 months of start
• Facility does not accept any license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of direct CVOR experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience in a teaching or acute care hospital environment
