Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Monitor and assess patients, including telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Float to any Medical Surgical unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be on file at time of submission
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission — facility will not pend certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health records highly preferred
• Experience working in a teaching hospital or larger acute care facility a plus
