Director of Philanthropy

Leading relationship-based fundraising efforts, the full-time salaried Director of Philanthropy will cultivate and secure philanthropic support from major donors, private foundations, and corporate partners while working remotely within one hour of Madison, WI or Spring Green, WI. Key responsibilities Develop and manage long-term relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners to align funding opportunities with organizational goals Prepare compelling proposals and stewardship reports while collaborating with program staff to identify new funding opportunities Track fundraising activities and analyze portfolio performance to recommend adjustments to fundraising strategies Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising with a proven track record of securing major gifts Experience in writing successful grant proposals and creating impact reports for grant management Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills for building relationships with diverse donors and stakeholders Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising software Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, with willingness to travel occasionally
