What You'll Do:

• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures including general, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain/endoscopy cases
• Provide specialized perioperative patient care for adult and geriatric populations
• Support surgical team and maintain sterile environment
• Assist with patient preparation and post-operative care
• Follow hospital protocols and safety standards, including EMR documentation (Cerner system)
• Work scheduled blocks, including potential coverage for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

What You Need:

• Valid Vermont RN license and BLS certification
• 2+ years OR nursing experience, with cataract surgery experience essential (non-negotiable)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work scheduled holiday blocks and maintain flexibility for on-call as needed
