Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate

• Manage full‑cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, process employee expense reports, and maintain general ledger entries for multiple client accounts
• Record and reconcile bank activity; review source documentation and organize supporting files
• Prepare 1099s and assist with client reporting deliverables
• Participate in month‑end close, prepare basic financial reports, and maintain balance sheet schedules
• For senior associates: handle advanced journal entries, manage accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets, and contribute to payroll reconciliation and financial statement review

Must‑Have Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of hands‑on accounting experience for associate level or 3+ years for senior associate level within a public accounting or client‑services environment
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with general accounting processes and reconciliations
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with comfort interacting directly with clients
• U.S.‑based accounting experience required; international degrees considered on a case‑by‑case basis when paired with relevant U.S. work history
