Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual to join our team in Kearny New Jersey (465 Kearney Avenue).

Work Schedule:

Monday to Wednesday: 8:00am 3:30pm

Thursday and Friday: 8:00am 2:30pm

Every other Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens paternity tests alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments as necessary

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency

1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Job Standards:

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication (listening verbal and written) skills

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Reliable transportation

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client this role you will provide exceptional customer service perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the addition you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Pay Range: $17.60 - $30.41

All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicable degrees/certifications as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Benefits : Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical Dental Vision Life STD/LTD 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO) Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours Casual Intern and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
