Job Opportunity: Cardio-Oncologist

Our organization is on the lookout for an innovative and empathetic Cardio-Oncologist to become a part of our expanding Cardiovascular Institute.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in merging cardiac care with the oncology experience, acting as a specialized resource across a vast network of hospitals and clinics in the region.

• Offer expert consultations for patients undergoing potentially cardiotoxic treatments, such as Anthracyclines, HER2-targeted therapies, and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICIs).
• Implement advanced monitoring techniques using global longitudinal strain (GLS) echocardiography and cardiac biomarkers to identify early signs of myocardial damage.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of cardiovascular and oncology specialists to create personalized, heart-conscious treatment and recovery strategies.
• Contribute to the strategic development of specialized cardio-oncology pathways within a centralized cardiovascular program.
• Oversee long-term cardiovascular risks in cancer survivors, addressing issues like radiation-induced heart disease and chemotherapy-related heart failure.

• Advanced training or substantial experience in Cardio-Oncology is preferred.
• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease is required.
• Proficiency in managing cardiovascular complications associated with contemporary oncology treatments and advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
