This is a highly visible, client-facing role. We value creative, strategic thinkers with demonstrated interest and skills in optimizing network performance.Who You Are:You are a US Citizen and are able to be clearable to the TS levelYou are passionate and curious about technologyYou are committed to work with a like-minded team to learn and grow in your field of expertiseYou are a problem solver and able to analyze and breakdown complex issuesYou have an eye for detail and consistencyYou have strong communication skills that are used to solicit and incorporate feedback in your workYou have a strong interest in infrastructure performanceYou enjoy interacting with clients to satisfy their goals and objectivesWe are looking for a team member with the following skills:Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering1+ years of network administrationSolid understanding of infrastructure protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, SSH, SFTP, SCP, SNMPv3, Netflow, SMTP.Experience automating data reporting or operational tasks with scripting languages (including Python and Bash).Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes.Solid understanding of other networking technologies (including TCP/IP, traffic analysis, TAPs, traffic brokers)Solid understanding of routing technologies (including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, EVPN)Solid understanding of technology concepts such as SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, operational monitoring, security monitoring, and KPIExcellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writingIf you have any of the following, it would be a bonus:Active US Secret or Top Secret clearanceStrong programming skills in Python and/or BashCCNA and/or CCNP certificationsExperience in packet analysis (Wireshark)Familiarity with ITILv3 concepts especially Service OperationsSecunetics is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
