About the Role

\n

We're hiring an Senior Implementation Engineer with a growth path to Customer Success Manager.

\n

\n

You'll implement and configure Hire2Retire for customers, not just explain how it works, but make it work. That means understanding the customer's business problem, configuring the product to solve it, and working with the product team when something doesn't fit. This is a technical role. You need to be comfortable with concepts like APIs, SFTP, Active Directory, and identity lifecycle management.

This is not a software development role.

\n

\n

We're a small, growing team. You'll be expected to learn on your own, figure things out, and move fast. If you need everything documented and handed to you, this isn't the right fit.

Our hiring process includes a writing assessment, aptitude test, logical reasoning evaluation, and an in-person coding exercise.

• On-site, 5 days a week in McLean, VA: You live in the DC / Northern Virginia / Maryland area.
\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Implement: Run deep dives with the customer's HR and IT teams, map their data and rules to the product's configuration, walk them through setup on a screen-share, and take them to go-live.
\n
• Find the real problem: Most issues start in the customer's source data: a missing manager, a duplicate ID, an incomplete thought on how RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) should be implemented. You prove where the problem is and send the customer a clear list of what needs fixing.
\n
• Troubleshoot to root cause: When employees fail to be synced, you read the logs, API responses, and SFTP files, and work out whose side the problem is on and what led to the issue in the first place.
\n
• Think, don't configure: You solve needs by helping guide our customers on how to think about a problem, not by just how to configure the product. When the product doesn't fit, you explain the gap to our product team clearly and briefly.

• Own your accounts: After go-live, the accounts stay yours for the long term. You run check-ins and business reviews across several customers at once.

What you Bring

\n

\n
• 3+ years full-time at a software company, getting customers live on its product: You might have held a title like Implementation Specialist, Technical Solutions Specialist, Configuration Analyst, or Solutions or Onboarding Consultant. Internships don't count toward the three years.
\n
• You have a good technical foundation; you understand APIs, SFTP, Active Directory, and how enterprise software integrates.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can state a problem simply and clearly in five minutes, not two hours.
\n
• You learn a new system by reading the docs and testing it. We're a small team, and nobody will hand you a manual for everything.
\n
• Organized enough to manage multiple customers and priorities without dropping things.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
